Walmart Recalls Infant Formula After Child Dies
Saturday, 31 December 2011 00:00

Wal-martWalmart, along with several other national retailers, has pulled a batch of Enfamil Newborn powdered infant formula after the death of a newborn baby in Missouri who drank the formula.

Although health officials did not link the bacterial infection which caused the death to the infant formula in question, Walmart is still pulling off the product “out of an abundance of caution”. They have also asked customers to return or exchange the purchased item for a full refund.

The company that makes the Enfamil formula insists the product is safe.
